Pacifist 2nd chapter

My Dranina was levelling, experiencing no trouble. After level 18, where she got bubble - and later I found out even BubbleHearth - she met nothing, she could not handle.
That is until one evening on her way to hand in the daily cooking and fishing Quests, she decided to take a short-cut swimming the Canals in Stormwind.
In the Canals she met the Sewer Beast, a level 50 elite, that of late seems more aggressive and more present. Maybe it is only owing to the fact that it no longer attracts the attention of the Stormwind guards. What ever the reason Dranina ended her life in its jaws at the tender age of 39.

In the meantime I found out that Paladin-pacifists are fun. As Darkmoon Faire was still around, it being Sunday afternoon, I hurried up and made a new one.
Rustypal is named after my very first Ironman, a Draenei Paladin.
May she live long and do honour to her name.

Pacifist

What now? I asked. The answer is Pacifists.
The rules are the same as for the IronMan Challenge (IMC) with the additional twist that you're not allowed to kill anything. No, not even the occasional critter. To make levelling at all possible, professions are allowed. That means that the greatest challenge is getting to level 5, where professions - once again - become available.

My maximum level so far has been 44. That was my third Pacifist challenger, who survived for 4 years. Have I told that I'm a slow leveller?
Fredeligst - Killed by too many undeads at Raven Hill Cemetery.

Showing off Fredeligst's killing stath - she's level 19 after the squish, I supposed 44 would make her 22, but then I never pretended to understand the logic behind this squish..

The normal route is to make a Night Elven either Priest, Rogue or Druid. I chose a Priest for the first 4 Pacifist IMCs.

For the first 3 levels I explored a bit, then I went to Azuremyst, where some quests in Ammen Vale and Azure Watch was available from level 2. But with Blizzard rolling their linearity out to more and more zones, that is not an option any more. The first Quest available without killing is now the Go to the nearest inn-ones like Rest and Relaxation in Elwynn Forest. Only not in Ammen Vale, where you need level 5.

This is my number 4 pacifist. She made it to level 10, but when doing the Profession Quests at Darkmoon Faire, she did the Quest Tonk Commander, which suddenly after patch 8.1.4 rewarded two kills and two killing blows, thus effectively setting a stopper for her IMC career.

It is a good trick to make a new challenger when Darkmoon Faire is around, grab the quest The Darkmoon Faire from a mage in a capital city, go there and then use the 5 Darkmoon Tickets that's the Quest reward to buy Darkmoon Storage Boxes and sell 4 of them for for 2 G 50 S each and keep the last one.  Starting money and bag space galore!
Then park him or her at an inn for some time to earn rested bonus.

This is Dranina, my 5th Pacifist IMC, and an unlikely one at that. She's a Draenei - (Not NE, which have Shadowmeld) and a Paladin to boot, so no PowerWord:Shield like Priests or Stealth like a Rogue. But I had her sitting at an inn at the unhappy Tonks incident mentioned above. So far I've gotten her to level 18 with a few scary moments, but now she can bubble up, and hopefully survive that way.  The Racial healing and the ability to wear heavy armour does help too.
